Homeowner deposits funds
The full project value is deposited into Suddeco's secure escrow. Funds are held safely — the professional cannot access them yet.
Set milestones
The project is divided into 3–5 milestones. Each milestone has a clear deliverable and payment amount.
Work and approve
The professional completes each milestone and marks it done. The homeowner inspects the work and approves it.
Funds released
When a milestone is approved, that portion of the funds is released to the professional. This repeats until the project is complete.

Is my money safe?
Yes. All funds are held in Stripe's secure escrow system. Suddeco never has direct access to your money. Funds are only released when you approve each milestone.
When does the professional get paid?
The professional receives payment for each milestone as soon as the homeowner approves it. This typically happens within 1–2 business days of approval.
What does SuddecoProtect cost?
SuddecoProtect charges a 2.5% platform fee on the total project value. This covers escrow management, dispute resolution, and payment processing. There are no hidden fees.
Do professionals need to set up anything?
Yes, professionals need to connect their bank account via Stripe Connect. This is a one-time setup that takes about 10 minutes. After that, milestone payments are deposited directly into their account.
